These Terms govern your use of Inertia, the habit-tracking web app at inertia.how (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
Inertia helps you track habits, tasks, streaks, challenges, and mood, and shows your progress over time. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
Don’t misuse the Service. In particular, don’t: break the law; attempt to access other users’ data; probe, scan, or breach security; overload or disrupt the Service; reverse-engineer or scrape it at scale; or upload malicious content.
The habits, notes, and other data you create remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you as part of operating the Service. You’re responsible for the content you enter.
Inertia is a self-improvement and productivity tool. It is not medical, psychological, health, or professional advice, and mood tracking is not a diagnostic tool. If you’re struggling with your physical or mental health, please seek help from a qualified professional. Don’t rely on the Service for any decision where doing so could harm you.
We aim to keep the Service running but provide it on an “as available” basis. It may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control, and we may modify or discontinue it.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own records of anything important.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inertia and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, on the free tier, is zero).
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Inertia is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
